GENS | Supporting the development of gender-inclusive energy innovations in informal settlements
In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team from the UK, Kenya and South Africa, I collected and analysed energy-related issues faced by women and men from informal settlements in sub-Saharan Africa. As the project outcome, I developed a co-design toolkit to help local stakeholders along the energy value chain co-create gender-inclusive energy innovations.
LENSin | Exploring the opportunities of networked production to improve product-service systems
During the three-year research project which gained me a PhD degree, I looked at the near-future trends of distributed manufacturing and how they could be applied to designing sustainable product-service systems. I have built, tested and refined a future scenario-based idea generation toolkit to help companies and designers create product-service systems.
BMFRG | Building a conceptual framework for manufacturing circular garments in the UK
Together with the team of supply chain experts, social designers and material scientists from the Burberry Material Futures Research Group at the RCA, I investigated the UK textile and clothing industry and trends. I proposed a conceptual framework for the UK-based production and consumption of textiles made of the local food industry by-products and waste.
